LEVEL: MIXED ABILITY
PACE: SLOW & STRONG
A mixed ability yoga class combining themes from Dru, Hatha, Seasonal and Restorative yoga, with a strong emphasis on flow. The last section of the class focuses on relaxation, basic breathwork and yoga nidra, (the yoga of sleep,) providing a well rounded experience for body, mind and spirit. Modifications are always provided and chairs are available if required. The pace of this class is slow-moderate. Beginners are welcome, as are those who prefer a strong yet slow, meditative flow.
1 class in every 4 will focus on relaxation and mindfulness. We ditch the challenging poses for a soothing, flowing, mostly floor based, restorative practise, to soothe and calm our nervous system. A much needed remedy to the pace and intensity of modern life. Meditation and breathwork are a key focus of these classes. Prior notice of the change in pace is given to students a week in advance.
